Slaine continues to try and save Sinead, whilst running from Lord Weird. Yet with the GodOdin still running around in his head – can he stay one step ahead.
Orlok continues to try and extract Rasputin from Oz. However the mutants are on his tail and a foe thought to have been dealt with – comes back from the past. Can he keep the enemies at bay, and get Rasputin back to safety.
The Grey Area team still want to escape the grey area. However Bulliet manages to pick a fight, one that may be the end of him. He sure doesn’t like bullies!
Alpha faces off against a whole bunch of pissed of members of the Stix family, in the latest chapter of Strontium Dog. Well he be able to get the information he needs to crack the case – or will the Stix overpower him.
The publisher very kindly sent us a preview copy.
This July will see an all new, all female Autobot team! The team will comprise of six brand new characters, who will combine into one super robot called Victorion.
They will debut in July’s issue of Transformers: Combiner Hunters. Followed by toy versions. This could prove to be a stellar team and I can’t wait to see how they work with the rest of the Autobot’s.
This August will see Titan bringing us two new original stories starring the cast of the film. The new comic will be brought to us by Max Davison and Matt Hebb.
It will be interesting to see how this team handle the characters.
Now Ben has teamed up with Titan to publish a five part comic series based on his best selling novel – Rivers of London. The new new comic book series will be set between book 4 and five.
Titans press release stated:
“Titan will be releasing a 5-part comic series penned by Aaronovitch (Remembrance of the Daleks) and Doctor Who showrunner Andrew Cartmel with art from Lee Sullivan (Doctor Who Comics). The novels follow the adventures of Peter Grant, a young officer in the London Metropolitan Police who is recruited into a special branch of the Met that deals with magic and the supernatural.”
I can’t wait to sink my teeth into this.
That’s all for this week – till next time this is Cookie signing out…
