Story

You can probably tell from my ratings that I really, really enjoyed this book. A bolshi, interesting Bruce Banner sets up his own lab so that he may use his amazing skills for human good. He must get the cooperation of S.H.I.E.L.D for his experiments to work. This is an interesting concept in the first place, and gives many opportunities for the readers to see Hulk in a different way.

Artwork

Indestructible Hulk is masterfully drawn and coloured, and it really reminded me of watercolours – the style is wonderful, and makes it really quite unique. The action is conveyed well and characters are wonderful – definitely the most handsome Banner I’ve seen!

Indestructible hulk spread Characters

This was my first encounter with all of the Hulk and S.H.I.E.L.D regulars in comic book form and this made for an interesting reading. I felt they were all portrayed quite well and successfully, and I especially liked Maria Hill.

Dialogue

The dialogue drives the story well with some hilarious genius-banter moments between guest star Tony Stark and Brue Banner.

What the kids say

They thought it was okay. They quite liked the action.

A wonderful comic exploring Hulk and his genius, with the wonderful intervention of great and familiar characters.
